2020 matric results for Marist Brothers Linmeyer released

“2020 was a tough year for the matrics, but they were more resilient, learned how to adapt, and came out stronger.”

On February 19, Marist Brothers Linmeyer announced their Class of 2020 results.

These learners and their parents excitedly collected the results at the school.

As they approached the entrance, they were welcomed by Grade One learners holding colourful balloons and congratulations posters.

The Class of 2020 results were made up as follows:

• 100 per cent IEB pass rate for the 106 learners who completed their exams.

• 103 (97.7 per cent) bachelor’s degree passes

• Three diploma passes

• 158 distinctions

• 1.42 average distinctions per learner.

“2020 was a tough year for the matrics, but they were more resilient, learnt how to adapt and came out stronger,” said Marist Brothers Linmeyer high school principal Gary Norton.

“Marist Brothers Linmeyer wishes learners well and hope the Marist characteristics family spirit, love of work, in the way of Mary, presence and simplicity guide and direct them through life.”

Caitlin and Ashleigh Ho came with their brother, Mathew, who passed with seven distinctions.
Ms C Rieker, Jeansse Muaba, Sipho Moloi, Kavir Rama, Kieran Padiachee, Shreyen Reddy and Phila Ramaphomane collected their matric results.
