Market Day hosted in aid of little Nathan

The community came in great numbers to show support of Nathan Nel’s fund-raising event on May 1 and 2.

It was an enjoyable day for both young and old while experiencing unlimited playtime at The Playhouse in New Market on May 1 and 2.

The well attended charitable event was hosted in aid of Verwoerdpark youngster Nathan Nel who needs his arm to be saved from amputation.

Nel is diagnosed with a rare bone disorder called Progressive Osseous Heteroplasia (POH). He desperately needs assistance to prevent the condition from deteriorating and possibly leading to his right arm being amputated.

Attendees had a blast at Alberton’s brightest indoor playground and enjoyed fun games, mouth-watering treats, loads of goodies as well as arts and crafts.

As publicised by BackaBuddy, their fund-raising target is R500 000, and they now stand at R134 590 and counting.
This will supplement the medical costs incurred by his family for his weekly physiotherapy and expensive therapy sessions.
