National Tekkie Tax Day is back
Tekkie Tax is a fund-raising campaign that was started in 2013.
Johannesburg SPCA (JSPCA) is once again part of the National Tekkie Tax Day on August 6 and needs your support.
Tekkie Tax is a fund-raising campaign that was started in 2013, where several national welfare organisations in SA joined forces to establish a national fund-raising campaign.
If you are wondering how you can support JSPCA, your first step would be to contact pr@jhbspca.co.za to place an order of your sticker and funky laces. You will then receive your sticker and laces, which you can wear on August 6.
There are five sectors you can support in this fund-raising, including animals, bringing hope, children, disability and education.
By purchasing a sticker, funky laces or a T-Shirt, you can support any of the above charities.
Funds raised through items sold, go directly to the welfare organisation you purchased the items from.
“The JSPCA has been taking part in Tekkie Tax since 2013 and we are hoping that the community will consider supporting us in this venture,” said Liana Marx from JSPCA.
“Every sticker sold makes a difference in an animal’s life that has nothing. This gives people a chance to support a charity and to give back.”
Buy your stickers for R10 each, laces cost R35, a tattoo is R10 and T-shirts sell at R80 for children’s small, medium and large sizes and R100 each for adults in small, medium and large sizes.
“We are fully stocked and ready for orders. For any queries or information, contact Liana on 081 799 2655/011 681 3600 or send an email at pr@jhbspca.co.za.”
