Ralph thankful for community’s help

The community of Alberton reached out to Ralph Machona and his dog, Sniper.

The story of Ralph Machona (38) and his dog Sniper’s reunion touched a lot of residents’ hearts.

Many have subsequently reached out to Ralph.

Ralph wants to say thank you to the community of Alberton for all the donations he has received so far.

The RECORD published an article about their reunion on April 22 when Sniper was taken from Ralph because people thought that he abused her.

Following teamwork from residents and a lot of social media posts, Sniper was dropped off at a vet on Second Avenue.

Ralph said that Sniper is doing very well and that she is just living her life by his side.

“She is my happy baby and I am just glad to have my best friend back,” he said.

He said that he fell in love with the community of Alberton because they have been so helpful and caring towards them.

Ralph is, however, still looking for a permanent job opportunity.

“I have one more wish and that is to find work. I am a keen builder, gardener and painter and I am willing to learn. I am hardworking and trustworthy,” said Ralph.

He is a car guard at the Randhart Shopping Centre.

Anyone who can assist Ralph with a permanent job can contact Chevonne on 072 720 6160.
