Local tattoo artist of Stigma Ink Melissa Waldeck donated to a faith-based community outreach programme, Kasie Outreach, on June 15.

Since winter has finally set in, these preloved clothing donations which were received by Morongoe Dikgale of Kasie Outreach will be donated to residents of Thokoza.

This is part of the community outreach’s sole vision of making a difference in the lives of needy communities in the City of Ekurhuleni since its inception in 2018.

Waldeck told the RECORD she saw a need to donate, especially during such a time where most households have been struck by the pandemic.

“I’m glad to be part of this life-changing movement and believe these clothes will help keep those in need warm. These were some of my clothes, while others were collected from our clients and close friends,” she said.

Morongoe Dikgale of Kasie Outreach said: “We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for the donation received from our keen donor. This donation will positively impact the lives of our beneficiaries. It is through those like her that we can change lives in the community.”

Anyone interested in contributing to the sustainability of Kasie Outreach and its activities may visit their Facebook page on Kasie Outreach or contact 062 037 7161.
