First time at the poll for The Bluff teen
While most residents are getting ready to vote for the umpteenth time, The Bluff’s James Bransgrove-Bower will cast his first vote.
JAMES Bransgrove-Bower will officially become a member of the voters’ roll when he casts his ballot for the first time on November 4.

Change of heart
Bransgrove-Bower admitted that voting was never something that piqued his interest until recent.
“I remembered that I am going into the real world now as a young adult and I realised if one does not vote for change, change will never happen. If I chose to abstain from voting, I would not have the right to complain about anything,” he said.
Expecting change
As a young person, Bransgrove-Bower said that he wants to see an elected councillor that will listen to the people of the community no matter who they are or their status.
“I want visibility from the elected councillor so that we know they are in the community actively working and making a difference, I’d want them to engage with the community so that they can show us that what they have said they will do is true and not just a false promise to win votes,” he said. Bransgrove-Bower added that he is excited to fulfil his democratic duty.
