Spar Superstars SLS 2026

KAGISO Morajane, a Grade 5 learner, excels as a tenor in the school choir. His talent has earned consecutive nominations and victories at prestigious platforms, including the KZN Cultural Competition for Music, the Playhouse Music Competition.

OKUHLE Maphakisa, a Grade 6 learner, recently participated in the 24SUM MORE+ competition – a maths competition which is a fast-paced mental maths contest for South African primary school learners in Grades 4 to 6. She received a certificate of recognition.

TYLOR Kock, a Grade 6 learner, has demonstrated outstanding mathematical ability. He recently participated in the Maths 24 Challenge and achieved an excellent second-place finish. He has qualified to advance to the district-level competition.

EMMA Lottering, a Grade 5 learner, was selected to compete at prestigious tournament in Port Elizabeth in August, Mpumalanga in September and Bloemfontein in October. She won a gold medal in kumite at the KZN trials. She says karate has transformed her life.

SANELE Ntini, Grade 9 learner, has taken it upon himself to learn all 13 South African languages, showing his curiosity, respect for different cultures and commitment to personal growth. Beyond his academic achievements, he is has a kind heart.

KUSHAD Dasrath, a Grade 9 learner, is passionate about karate. He took part at the recent karate tournament held at the Tongaat Indoor Sports Centre recently where he received a bronze medal. This is his fourth medal since participating competitively last year.

MADHAV Puran, a Grade 8 learner and is a chess player. His interest, love and passion grew and he played competitive chess and he started entering various tournaments. Madhav is strong -minded, hardworking and self-motivated.

LOYISO Ndlovu, a Grade 9 learner, is passionate about body boarding and surfing.
He recently participated in the eThekwini Body boarding Competition, where he had the opportunity to showcase his skills and dedication to the sport.
