Spar Superstars SLS 2026

AZARIA Govender is being recognised for winning double gold at the KSA Development National Championship. The Grade 7 learner won gold in kumite (sparring) and kara (forms). Her win has strengthened her prospects for the national team selection.

KENDYLL Smith is a Grade 5 learner who has a passion for storytelling. She represented her school in the recent eThekwini Annual Storytelling Competition for District 6. Smith’s retelling of the story “No Dinner” by Jessica Souhami earned her a spot in the finals.

RYDER Callen Naidoo is a Grade 6 learner being recognised for his exceptional swimming skills. The young swimmer competed in the Umlazi District Swim Championships recently as well as being selected for the KZN provincial swim trials in Pietermaritzburg.

LAMBULETHU Zondi is being recognised for her quick math skills and enthusiastic spirit in the classroom.
The Grade 5 learner was able to achieve 100% in her latest mathematics assignment. The young whizz dreams of one
day becoming a mathematician.

LWANDILE Cele, Grade 12 learner has been elected as head boy of 2026.
He had been recognised with an honours leadership blazer for representing the school’s nationally-emblem of excellence and responsibility.

NELEH Brown, Grade 10, is passionate about sports. She placed in all her races in the KZN Coastal Schools Swimming League. Neleh is a dedicated swimmer who has grown greatly from the first tournament and is able to swim all strokes.

PHIWOKUHLE Zungu, Grade 12, is the new representative council of learners (RCL) chairperson at the school. The RCL leadership was elected in February, and Phiwokuhle was chosen for her mental agility and resilience in her ability to lead under pressure.

DARREN Hamann, a Grade 10 leaner, is a dedicated volleyball player. He has a strong passion for sport and consistently demonstrates commitment, discipline and teamwork. Darren participated in the basketball trials organised by Wentworth Raptures.
