It’s the Osmans’ show at Bluff BC

BLUFF Bowling Club members Brian and Paula Osman stole the show on Sunday when they knocked Keith Wild and Jumbo Nel off the perch at the Craig Bell any pairs competition.

They were they were overall winners with a score of 4+20.

The first session was won by Andy and Brenda Andrascho on a 2+14 while the second session was won by Ina and Brendon Davies on a 2+19. There were three board draws done with ‘Lucky’ Louisa McGlynn winning the first two and Sonja Koch winning the third. The meat raffle was won by Mike Strudel and the whiskey by Rick.

On Friday, 2 July the Tony Hoggins 3-2-1 killer took place and the overall winners were George Harris and Ken Koch with a 4+40. The first session was won by John Younnie and Bill Adinnal with a 2+18 while the second session went to Dave White and Keith Wild on a 2+38. Cassie Carpenter took the board prize as well as the most touchers prize with nine while Johan Nel and Dennis Gericke won the pork and beef raffles respectively.

On Saturday, 3 July the men played inter club league at home, with the A side defeating Amanzimtoti 6-1 and the B side losing 3-2 to Hillcrest.

The results of the last Brian Osman any pairs was as follows: Overall winners Tony Hoggins and Alex Fisher, the first session was won by Loftie and Archie on a 2+10, while the second session was won by Ahroo and Ken Thomas on a 2+16. The sportsmen’s prize was won by Bev and Regie and the 50/50 board and meat raffle went to Jumbo Nel and Brian Osman respectively.
