Robin Hood does good for John Dunn House elderly

The purpose of the campaign, which will visit 18 homes throughout KZN, is to give a gift, to show love and to bring joy. The team from the foundation said they were humbled by the simplicity of the requests received from the residents of the home – from a chocolate to toilet paper, coffee or cleaning products.

Many residents in old age homes have the basic necessities, but have little else in the way of entertainment or small luxuries, like sweets and certain toiletries.

Members of the public willing to support the Robin Hood Foundation’s Bless-a-Granny and Grandpa campaign can email robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net and be sent the name of a specifically selected granny or grandpa and their wish list or provide a generic gift to the value of R125.
