Paid for free council services?

Call for the public to report fraudulent claims for cash for free services.

THE eThekwini Health Department calls for anyone who paid for free services to come forward.

Free services offered by the department include certificates of acceptability, health certificates and scheduled trade permits.

If anyone has charged levies for issuing any of these documents, the public is requested to call Peter Roberts on 083-737-6303.

Certificates of acceptability are issued to establishments wanting to sell food, health certificates to people who want to import food and scheduled trade permits are given to businesses, where there is a potential impact to the health of employees.
