Armed robbers target public transport users
Group of men target Higginson Highway users.

Montclair SAP have noted a spike in armed robbery at the N2 freeway and Higginson Highway intersection.
A group between two and four men are targeting pedestrians and motorists who are on their way to and from work. People who wait for public transport in the area are the most vulnerable. Most robberies occur between 5am and 7am in the morning and 5pm and 9pm in the evening. The men have been seen fleeing in the direction of Lamontville.
Two men who had stopped under the Higginson Highway bridge on the N2 freeway were approached by three knife-wielding men. The men threatened to stab them before fleeing with their cellphones. They were unharmed.
