IF you think you have stage presence, then audition for the 13th annual PANSA Rainbow Young Performers production, Footloose.
Auditions take place on Saturday, 26 April at Durban High School from 9am to 5pm.
The producers are looking for 30 talented young performers from KZN. Footloose has some 13 parts for boys and 14 parts for girls. They will also be seeking musicians to make up a ‘live’ band.
Applicants must be able to sing, dance and act and be available for rehearsal every weekend from 16 May to 22 June.
Previews and performances are from 28 June to 13 July. Applicants must be available for the whole audition to qualify. Wear comfortable clothing, gym gear and appropriate footwear
Take your own refreshments, water, juice and lunch. Applicants must be prepared to wait between calls.
The musical is directed by Themi Venturas and re-unites choreographer, Daisy Spencer and vocal coach, Des Govender, the team that brought Hairspray and Legally Blonde.
