Montclair braai duke makes the cut

Cousins jet-off to Cape Town.

BRAAI Dukes’ Milani Motlohi and Kevin Jonas have made the finals as one of 15 teams who will compete for the Ultimate Braai Master title.

The Dukes were recently named among the finalists in the show which is set to air in September. “I was extremely happy when we found out we made the finals. It means we are getting where we want to be. This means everything to us,” said Montclair resident, Kevin Jonas.

His cousin, Milani Motlohi, who was just as excited, said: “I was relieved when we received the call. I wanted it badly.” The duo are currently ‘polishing’ their skills and learning as much as they can ahead of the challenge. They travel to Cape Town on Monday, 5 May where they will be briefed on what to expect in the competition.

“I am excited and I am looking forward to the thrill of it. I have wanted to become famous for a long time and this is my opportunity,” said Kevin. “Our game plan is to do what we have always done and that is to listen and respect each other.”

Winning for the duo would mean everything to them and they are not holding anything back. They thank their parents for their support and allowing them to compete in the competition.
