City bus ablaze

A DURBAN Transport bus caught fire yesterday morning at about 8.15am on the M4 northbound, by the South Coast Road exit.

The bus, which was parked in the emergency lane, was engulfed in flames. Police and emergency services responded to the scene and the fire was quickly doused. Traffic slowed on the M4, as the smoke billowed in the vicinity.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
