DRUGS valued at about R136,000 and R125,000 in cash were recovered from a shack in Bayview on Monday, 5 May.
Members of Chatsworth Crime Intelligence working with the KwaDukuza task team received a tip-off about a drug den in Bayview. Following the tip, they were led to a shack where they recovered 1,100 straws of heroin, 89 pieces of rock cocaine and R125,986 cash.
Two men, aged 25 and 34 were arrested and charged for possession of drugs.
They appeared in Chatsworth Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 19 May.
