BREAKING NEWS: Bomb found at Jacobs scrap dealer

POLICE are on scene in Jacobs to safely dispose of a bomb that was discovered at a scrap metal dealership in Jacobs.

Colonel Jay Naicker from KZN police media confirmed that at about 9.50am, an explosive device was found at a scrap metal dealership in Jacobs and Brighton Beach police and SAP bomb squad responded.

The police are evacuating people from the area and will safely detonate it once the area is secured.

“Police will investigate its origin, so necessary steps can be taken against those responsible for dumping the device in such a manner,” said Col Naicker.
