Police hunt rapists

THE Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) calls for public assistance in locating two men who raped a woman in Glenwood on 23 April.

Shortly after midnight, the women, who is in her late 30s was looking for her kitten, which had jumped out a window and gone into Nicholson Park, Mathews Road.

In the park, she was overpowered by two men who beat and burnt her with cigarettes and sexually assaulted her. She described one of her attackers as about 30-years-old, tall with a muscular build and a medium to black complexion. He had a ‘table top’ style haircut and at the time of the attack, was unshaven and wearing a red T-shirt.
