New sponsor invigorates Bluff football club

Dates to diarise include Saturday, 12 July for the Fynnland football day. More details to follow shortly.

FYNNLAND Football Club (FFC) is pleased to announce Bluff Meat Supply has come on aboard to sponsor the club.

The injection of the much-needed funds has enabled the club to meet its 2014 financial commitments and buy equipment and training aids.

On Thursday, 5 June Calven Robinson from Bluff Meat Supply presented the new sponsored kit to the club. “We have received the support of the Bluff community for many years, so it is our pleasure to give back to the community,” said Calven. Present at the kit hand-over were Calven, Ben Jnr (FFC vice chairman), Clint (FFC secretary), Jono (1st team coach), members of the 1st and 2nd teams and some juniors.

With the 2014 season in full swing, the future of the club looks very positive. Numbers within the junior ranks are growing every week and where there were pre-season fears of not being able to field sides within some age groups, the club now has two teams within these age groups. The Combined Fynnland Sport Club’s general elections have been concluded and newly elected chairman Ammie Liebenberg has big and exciting plans for the club. All the sporting bodies will benefit under his strong leadership and Fynnlands will become a powerhouse club.

Dates to diarise include Saturday, 12 July for the Fynnland football day. More details to follow shortly.
