Model hopefuls spread goodwill

The models need your support with sponsorship for accommodation, outfits, transport for the pageant as well as support at their events.

NINE Woodlands models will take to the stage at the Miss Queen of the Universe pageant in Pretoria on 6 and 7 September.

The models, who are all from Mobile Model Management, will compete against models from around the world who vie for the title. The pageant draws a large number of entrants as models between the ages of four and 31 are allowed to compete.

Kayla Gleisner (18), who is a Woodlands resident and a modelling teacher for the modelling agency has started a charity organisation named ‘Because I care’, which will work with the youth to uplift the community.

On Sunday, 13 July, Kayla who is also participating in the Miss Queen of the Universe pageant along with the other Woodlands models hosted a ‘Heels for the Homeless’ fundraiser at Ushaka Marine World. The money raised was donated to soup kitchens for the homeless. The beauty queens will continue spreading goodwill but they too need assistance.
