Four weekend burglaries target flat screen TVs
Kestrel Crescent and Finch Street in Yellowwood Park targeted.
HOUSEBREAKINGS are on the increase in the Montclair police jurisdiction once again, according to Montclair SAP’s communication officer, Lt Leopold Jojozi.
Between Friday, 8 August and Sunday, 10 August, there were four housebreakings in Kestrel Crescent and Finch Street in Yellowwood Park. The perpetrators seem to be targeting large flat screen TVs as these were the only items stolen, according to police reports.
Police urge residents to be vigilant at all times and reported suspicious activity or people in the area. Residents are reminded to ensure all alarm systems are activated and all windows and doors are closed and locked at all times.
