Bayview looks forwards to memorial day soccer challenge
Long time Bayview member Okkie Gouws will have the first kick of the game to start proceedings.

THE long anticipated fourth edition of the annual memorial challenge takes place at Bayview Football Club sports ground in St Patrick’s Road on Saturday, 30 August against sides from Fynnlands.
The planning for this day started over three months ago and it promises to be a bumper day with Bayview U9 vs Fynnland U9 kicking off at noon.
The boys will then form a guard of honour for the players of the over 50 game at 1.30pm.
Long time Bayview member Okkie Gouws will have the first kick of the game to start proceedings. The over 35 game will take place at 3pm. Thereafter there will be music and a party.
The Bayview Old Boys committee thanks Bayview’s chairman for the hard work in organising what promises to be a day full of fun and entertainment.
There will be jumping castles, child minders, face painting for the children and various raffles taking place.
Ample parking is available with security, car guards and medics for the games on site, as well as food and refreshments on sale.
