Glynis takes back to back titles at Bluff BC

GLYNIS Macrory defeated Daphne Reinhardt on Saturday at Bluff Bowling Club, to lift the women senior singles title for the second consecutive year and against the same opponent, making Daphne the runner-up also for the second consecutive year.
There was one woman point match played and Janice Rodgers knocked out Jay Retief to progress to the next round.
On Sunday in a women’s drawn pairs match, Janice teamed up with Diedre Koekemoer and defeated Bridget White and Dawn Spack with an one shot margin.
This month’s Brian Osman any pairs saw overall winners emerge in Kurt and Dawn Spack on a 4+24, with the first session going to Dudley Dorrofield on a 2+15 while the second session was won by Chris Klopper and Johan Nel on a 2+7.

The men’s senior singles semi finals were played during the week and Robbie Johnston and Tony Hoggins will contest this year’s final after they defeated Kurt Spack and Alex Fisher respectively.
