Bluff brothers on target for KZN shooting teams

Local shottists will represente KZN.

BLUFF brothers, Daniel and Jonathan Visser have been selected to compete for KZN at the South African National Schools Shooters Union (Sanssu) competition in October.

The duo shot their way into the SA leg of the competition after success at the Sanssu KZN target shooting trials on Saturday, 16 August in Vryheid.

Daniel will form part of the U21A team, while Jonathan will compete in the U16A team. Both were selected to represent the South African Air Rifle Association and Sanssu to participate at the national competition.

Taking his passion for target shooting further, Jonathan earned gold in the KZN leg of the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists with his project on the accuracy versus the velocity of pellets on airgun rifles. He used the project to determine whether correct pellets in rifles will accomplish better results than generics.
