YWP’s best verges sought
Members of the community can nominate their own home or a home in the community which they think has the best looking verges.
YELLOWWOOD Park Ratepayer’s Association is running a monthly competition for the community to see who has the best verges.
“The idea behind this is to encourage members of the community to take pride in their verges,” said Yellowwood Park Ratepayers Association chairman, Gavin Hegter. The competition will run for the next six months.
Members of the community can nominate their own home or a home in the community which they think has the best looking verges. “We encourage members of the community to nominate homes,” said Hegter.
There will be monthly prizes on offer. Yellowwood Park Spar will give away a R300 shopping voucher to the winning home and LB Photography will sponsor a family photo shoot to the value of R500. Yellowwood Park Ratepayer committee members will visit the nominated addresses and choose a winner.
