UPDATE: Trust fund opened for brain-damaged Montclair man

Twenty one-year-old Lotter was allegedly assaulted by 23-year-old William Joubert after Lotter went to visit his ex-girlfriend’s family.

THE family of Mark Lotter, who was attacked on Kenyon Howden Road on Saturday, 20 September has opened a trust fund to help raise funds for his medical care.

Anyone who would like to donate towards costs for Mark’s treatment can do so through the Mark Lotter Assistance Fund. ABSA Malvern, account number 9300149569, branch code 632005.

Twenty one-year-old Lotter was allegedly assaulted by 23-year-old William Joubert after Lotter went to visit his ex-girlfriend’s family. Joubert allegedly went after Lotter who was on Kenyon Howden Road and a scuffle ensued in a shop parking lot. The fight continued into a shop, where Lotter was repeatedly kicked in the head and beaten.

Joubert pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder in court on Monday, 22 September. He was denied bail.
