Bluff-South Coast Rd junction choked by four-car pile-up

Traffic was severely affected as emergency workers cleared the scene.

PARAMEDICS responded to a multiple vehicle collision in Bluff and South Coast roads at about 6.30am this morning (Tuesday, 28 October).

“Rescue Care paramedics arrived to find that three taxis and a car had collided in the junction. A quick found that five people had sustained minor injuries. Once all of the injured had been stabilised they were transported to various Durban hospitals for care that they required. Traffic was severely affected as emergency workers cleared the scene,” said operations director, Garrith Jamieson.

The cause of the accident is unknown and police are investigating.
