Merebank station business forum tackles crime
The forum's first meeting took place on Thursday, 30 October.

IN an effort to combat crime in South Coast Road, Mobeni and surrounding areas, businessmen from the area have formed the Merebank station business Forum.
The forum’s first meeting took place on Thursday, 30 October.
The forum is chaired by Nathi Mbatha. “The role of the forum is for business roleplayers to be the police’s eyes and ears in the area,” said Mbatha. Police and the committee will meet once a month to share concerns about crime in the area.
“We invite business people and other stakeholders in South Coast Road and surrounding areas to attend these meetings. We hope this initiative will grow,” said Mbatha. For more information about Merebank station business forum, contact chairman Nathi Mbatha on 082-475-4359.
