UPDATE: 15 children injured after taxi overturns [VIDEO]
The cause of the accident is unknown. Police are investigating.
FIFTEEN children between the ages of 8 and 12-years-old were injured after a taxi transporting them lost control and rolled on Kenyon Howden Road, Montclair at about 2pm this afternoon.
“Rescue Care paramedics found a Toyota Condor on its roof. They found several injured children around the vehicle. Fifteen children needed hospitalisation and more resources were called in to assist the injured. After more ambulances arrived and all the children had been stabilised, they were transported to various Durban hospitals for the further care,” said operations director, Garrith Jamieson.
The cause of the accident is unknown. Police are investigating.
