THERE are only two finals remaining to complete this year's club competitions at Bluff Bowling Club, namely the mixed drawn trips and the men's drawn pairs.

On Saturday Dave Le Roux, Tony Hoggins and Kurt Spack took the men's drawn trips title when they defeated Dave Rowe, Mouse Ratcliffe and Allan Moore and on Sunday morning, Gary Moffat, Sarie Bisset, Brian Osman and Deon Els beat Tony Hoggins, Lilah Nel, Elize Stapelberg and Harvey Simpkin to lift the drawn mixed fours title.

The semi-final of the nominated mixed pairs was also played on Sunday morning and Robert Mhlongo and Glynis Macrory were runaway victors over Dave Le Roux and Jay Retief and went on to take the title when they defeated Clinton and Sarie Bisset in the afternoon match.

December should be quite a busy time this year as the calendar is in play right up to Sunday, 21 December. The happenings start off with the Bell any pairs on Sunday, 7 December at 9am. The club then has the night racing at Greyville on Friday, 12 December, the club prize giving on Saturday, 13 December and the annual general meeting on Sunday morning, 14 December. Then there are the Christmas editions of the Brian Osman and Lilah Nel pairs on Thursday, 18 December and Sunday, 21 December respectively, with both competitions starting at 9am.

Members are asked to check the boards for any changes or amendments.
