Armed robbers strike

They tied up the woman and her son up

TWO house robberies have left families shaken in Montclair and Yellowwood Park, with nearly R70,000 in goods stolen.

On Friday, 5 June at about 11am, a woman was robbed in her Yellowwood Park home by four men.

One assaulted her with a stick and told her to keep quiet. They ransacked her home and loaded their gains in a white Audi before fleeing.

In a separate incident, after leaving on the school run, a Montclair woman returned home when she realised her son had left his medication there. Waiting in the car for her son to return from the house, she grew concerned when he was gone for a long time.

When she entered the home she found two men inside, one with a firearm and the other with an unknown object, holding her son down. They tied up the woman and her son up then grabbed cash, mobile phones, a tablet and laptop and fled.
