UPDATE: Two trucks crash, cause traffic jam on M4
Only one driver suffered moderate injuries.
Two trucks crashed on the Himalayas Road off-ramp to Merebank this afternoon, Friday, 18 September, causing traffic to back up as far as the Quality Street off-ramp.
Initial reports indicated three trucks and a car were involved with occupants stuck in the car.
“Only one of the truck drivers suffered minor injuries,” said Netcare 911 media liaison officer, Chris Botha.
