A MAN made a shocking discovery of the body of a 24-year-old Umlazi woman whose body was found under the Hulletts Bridge in Clairwood on Tuesday, 3 May.
The passer-by who was on his way home from work, spotted the body under the bridge at around 8.30am.
Montclair SAPS found the victim half naked and covered in bruises. According to police, it is believed that a rock was used to hit her in the face repeatedly after an unknown assailant raped her.
Paramedics arrived on scene to certify her dead and transported her body to a mortuary for further investigation.
