N2 motorist shot after breaking down
Another broken down vehicle results in shooting.
A MAN in his fifties is in a critical condition after he was shot on the N2 this morning near the M7.
At about 7.40am the man was on the side of the southbound lane after his car broke down when he was shot once.
Rescue Care paramedics used advanced life support to stabilise him before he was taken to hospital.
Police are investigating the shooting but at this stage no details have been released.
