UPDATE: N2 motorist shot after breaking down

Police offer advice following attacks on motorists in the same area.

FOLLOWING another shooting of a motorist near the M7 this morning, Friday, 24 June the police urge motorists to take care when experiencing car trouble.

“We appeal to the motorists to take extra precautions when their vehicles experience problems along the main routes,” said SAPS KZN media’s Lieutenant Colonel Thulani Zwane.

The police urge motorists to try get to the nearest safe place and when not possible to get assistance as soon as possible.

He added that the person who will assist must urgently do so criminals can plan or launch attacks on unsuspecting victims. Wait few metres away from the vehicle and be observant at all times.

This follows a shooting two weeks ago in the same area.
