Assistance sought by Brighton Beach police

It is alleged that on 6 February 2019 at 6pm, a 15-year-old female was raped by a male in Dunbar Road in Cato Manor.

The Brighton Beach Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are seeking assistance with regards to the whereabouts of an unknown male, believed to be in his late 20’s. Police believe that he can assist in a rape investigation. He is dark in complexion, slender in built, short in height and has a gold tooth.

It is alleged that on 6 February 2019 at 6pm, a 15-year-old female was raped by a male in Dunbar Road in Cato Manor. A case of rape was opened at the Cato Manor police station for investigation. “We are appealing to anyone with information to contact the investigating officer Detective Sergeant Buthelezi on 072-563-1273 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” said police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbhele.
