Two killed in Flower Road shooting
Two men were found with gunshot wounds at the scene, however no eye witnesses or any evidence have been found yet to assist in the case.

An on-duty security guard and an unidentified civilian were shot dead by unknown suspects on Flower Road in Clairwood on Friday evening, 7 June at about 6pm.
KZN police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala said charges of murder were opened for investigation at Brighton Beach police station. “The deceased guard was also robbed of his service pistol. It is still being established how many perpetrators were involved,” she said.
Brighton Beach police spokesperson, Captain Louise Le Roux, confirmed that the incident did take place and that two bodies were found on the scene after police were anonymously alerted via a phone call by an individual who was walking nearby.
“Two males were found with gunshot wounds at the scene however no eye witnesses or any evidence have been found yet to assist in the case. Police have appealed to and activated the Clairwood community as well as informal settlement members in the area to come forward with any information that could be of assistance in the ongoing murder investigation, by calling the station on 031-451-8060. All those who assist will remain anonymous,” she said.
