#WomensMonth: NFHS hosts glamorous women’s conference
The function was attended by 320 guests which included learners and female relatives and friends from the community.
New Forest High School hosted its first ever women’s conference on Tuesday, 6 August. The event was an extravagant function, hosted by women for women. The function was attended by 320 guests which included learners and female relatives and friends from the community.

The dress code for the evening was strictly formal wear with a theme of “Proud To Be A Woman”. The guest speaker, Linda Scholtz, the principal of Danville Girls High School, gave an inspirational, life-altering, speech for women of all ages. The programme also comprised of glamorous items prepared by the learners of New Forest High School such as a modelling show, musical drama item and much more. A delicious full course supper was served to the women.
“This was a night to remember. A special thanks to Mrs Moodley (head co-ordinator), Manco ladies (Mrs Madurai, Mrs Wasserman and Miss Bruce), female staff who organised the items, admin staff and the ground staff of New Forest High School,” concluded NFHS administrator, Mrs Goldstone.
