Atherstone Place name blunder rectified
Residents are encouraged to use eServices to use the ProActive Citizen app to report faults to council.
THE blunder signage on Atherstone Place in Woodlands has been rectified. The power of social media can never be taken for granted. The error was initially picked up by an observant resident.

Council was then contacted and in just a few days the blunder was fixed. We tip-off our hats to eThekwini Municipality for the swift turn around time.
We asked residents if had noticed any blunders lately and this is what they had to say:
Simone de Bruyn: The on-ramp from The Pavilion in Durban going towards Pietermaritzburg has a sign that says PMD painted on the road. Must be a new city!
McCann Sharon: Shocking.
Kimberly Huysamen: What a waste of money.
Beverly Stevens Roos: I’ve seen a few that are wrong.
Kevin Hall: Well that’s what poor education and low pass mark requirements will do!
Wendy Kruger: My road is Tern Way… The one sign, at one of the intersections, says Ternway, spelled as one word.
Charmaine Stone: Try our road… Sign says THE Grove… Emphasis on “the”.
