Montclair woman critical after stabbing

Rescue Care Paramedics together with Blue Security arrived on the scene to find a doctor assisting the injured woman lying in the car park of a local mall.

A WOMAN, believed to be in her 30s, is in a critical condition after she was stabbed in Wood Road, Montclair, around 12pm today.

“Rescue Care Paramedics together with Blue Security arrived on the scene to find a doctor assisting the injured lady lying in the car park of a local mall. She sustained multiple stab wounds to her upper body and was in a critical condition. Advanced Life Support paramedics worked to stabilise the lady on scene before rushing her through to a nearby hospital,”said Rescue Care Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson.

At this stage the events leading to the stabbing are unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
