WATCH: Wentworth factory goes up in smoke

ONE person has been rushed to hospital following an inferno that broke out at a factory in Shetland Road in Wentworth just before 10.30am today. Rescue Care paramedics were among the first responders on the scene. The Durban Fire Department and the police are on scene as well.
“The entire factory is well alight and the Durban Fire Department is working to try to extinguish the blaze with multiple units in attendance. At this stage one person has been rushed to hospital while two others are being treated on scene by a paramedic from the fire department. Shetland Road is currently closed while fire fighting emergency personnel work to contain this fire,” said Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care.
