Police station reopens after Covid-19 decontamination
The station had to be closed after a member tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday, 13 August.
MONTCLAIR police station reopened its doors on Monday morning, 17 August. This follows the station’s closure after one of its members tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday, 13 August.
Due to the closure, the Community Service Centre operated from the Trauma Room during the weekend.
“The building has been decontaminated. The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may have been caused,” said the station’s spokesperson, Captain Derek Vijiam.
