Watch this space – a surprise is in store at Woodlands Bowling Club
There is a nice surprise in store at Woodlands Bowling Club for next week thanks to the donations from Tommy Simpkins, Keith Hughes and Carol Lauderdale.

WOODLANDS Bowling Club had a large turnout of 18 teams for its breakfast casual 4’s on Thursday, October 7.
Second session winners were Sidney Pretorius, Chris van Niekerk, Arnie Harper and Anne Vogues on 2+17. Overall winners were Hugh Martin, Monique Wells, Lynn Watson and Pam Kitching on 4+10. Lucky Sidney Pretorius also won the rib-eye roast.
Linda Hewer and Errol Pienaar won R40 each on the money board and Errol Pienaar and Anne Vogues won R20 each.
The snowball was R1 700 and is a carry over as Danny Smit was not in house. On Sunday, October 17 the club will host another fun day.
Names and payment of R15 per person to be in by 9:30 for 10:00. Bowls will be supplied to those that don’t have. Participants must wear flat shoes.
Refreshments and eats to be supplied halfway through the game and fires will be lit by the main club for a braai after play.
Go along and have some fun and make new friends. There is a nice surprise in store for next week thanks to the donations from Tommy Simpkins, Keith Hughes and Carol Lauderdale.
The snowball on Friday, October 15 will be R2 100. Be at the club with your valid membership card and it could be your lucky day.
