Fresh fun frenzy at Oxford Freshmarket
It was a fun day of shopping at Bluff Oxford Freshmarket on Black Friday, November 26.
A FRESH, fun frenzy is what best describes the Black Friday special that Bluff Oxford Freshmarket had on offer on November 26.
The community’s much-loved store delivered on its ‘Super Fresh Friday’ promise be offering shoppers the very best products and produce at great deals.
To keep the shopping expedition excitement going, Oxford Freshmarket also ran a fun trolley dash competition where winners walked away with bags of goodies collected in two minutes.

“It has been a hard time for shoppers with lockdown, restricted trading hours and the riots in July. We thought that considering Black Friday is always quite a frenzy, let’s bring back an element of fun and excitement into shopping and the whole idea of a trolley dash was just that. Our concept behind Black Friday was ‘Super Fresh Friday’ by giving our customers value of their money.
“We kept the competition rules quite simple where shoppers needed to spend R200 or more and write their details on their till slip and enter. It was fun and exciting for winners, staff and in-store shoppers, who were eager to see what the winners walked away with,” said Oxford Freshmarket Executive Creative and Marketing Director, Patrick Hyland.

Bluff resident and regular Oxford Freshmarket shopper, Charis Alexandra was the winner of the store’s trolley dash competition. “I’m incredibly excited and very blessed,” she said minutes before filling her trolley with a number of goodies and fresh produce.
East Coast Radio, who broadcast the drive-time show with J’Sbu and Stacy live from the store, also chose their winner Nicolette Smith who bagged the highest overall spend at the till with a balance of R4051,30.
