According to Garrith Jamieson, spokesperson for ALS Paramedics, the accident involved a truck that lost control, swerved into barriers and jackknifed. “The truck struck a security guard, who sustained injuries, along with the truck driver who was also injured in the incident,” said Jamieson.

Emergency services responded swiftly to the scene. “The necessary authorities are on scene and working to remove the truck and try to clear up the traffic,” said Jamieson.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and expect delays while authorities work to clear the scene.
