Woman’s body discovered at Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve

A murder docket has been opened at the Montclair Police Station following the discovery of a young woman’s body near the Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve today (October 2).

A SHOCKING discovery was made this morning (October 2) as a young woman’s body was found near the Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve in Yellowwood Park.

The body of the young woman was discovered by a security guard who immediately notified the police.

Captain Cheryl Pillay, communications officer at Montclair Police Station, confirmed that a case of murder has been opened. “The Montclair Police are investigating a murder docket, and investigations have been intensified,” said Pillay.

The police urge anyone who can assist with the ongoing investigation to contact Detective Captain Rico Naidoo on 079 500 0762, or they can contact Crime Stop anonymously on 08600 10111.
