ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson, said they were called to a complex shortly after 14:45. “Members of the police were already on scene and directed the paramedics to the pool in the complex where the incident took place,” he said
According to initial accounts, the man’s body was found in the pool by a friend who immediately pulled him out and attempted to resuscitate him. Despite this, there was nothing paramedics could do, and the man was declared dead at the scene.
