“She was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Supermodel South Africa Ambassador 2024, Miss Supermodel South Africa Influencer, Miss Punctuality Supermodel South Africa and Miss Diligent Supermodel South Africa. She won awards for best smile, best interview and best traditional outfit,” said Namisile Zungu, Sikhona’s mother.
The competition tested all the talents and poise within Sikhona from social media to community charity work, swimwear, cultural attire, evening gown, to a question and answer session. Namisile said that her lovely daughter’s 2LEH Haute Couture gowns captured the eye and votes of the judges and audience alike.

A highlight of Sikhona’s pageant journey was her advocacy for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, where she encouraged people to prioritise heart health. This work reflects her deep passion for charity and community service. “My hard work and dedication have finally paid off. This title is a dream come true, and I’m proud to represent my family and community,” said Sikhona.
Namisile expressed immense pride in her daughter’s accomplishments. “Sikhona began her pageant journey at the age of 10, and it has been an inspiring journey. We’re so grateful for all the support she has received.”
Using her platform to create positive change is a priority for Sikhona. Beyond supporting the Heart and Stroke Foundation, she visits children’s hospitals and orphanages to spread joy and encouragement, participates in beach clean-ups to promote environmental conservation and empowers young girls to pursue their dreams while valuing education.
Over her two-year journey in pageantry, Sikhona has become a beacon of inspiration for young girls in her community and beyond. Her story is a testament to the power of determination, hard work and a giving heart.
