Urgent plea: Help Woodlands family find missing teenager
The 14-year-old boy was last seen on Tuesday morning leaving for Clairwood Secondary School. His mother is concerned for his safety.
THE family of a missing 14-year-old boy is pleading for help to locate Mnqobi Shandu of Doddington Crescent in Woodlands who was last seen going to Clairwood Secondary School on February 4.
His mother Zamokuhle Shandu said when she came back from work she noticed that her son was not at home.

“When I came back home on Tuesday night, I noticed that the door and burglar gate were wide open. His school uniform and school bag were in the room. I assumed that he had come back home. I asked other family members if they had seen him, but they said they had no knowledge of his whereabouts, and then I started panicking,” said Shandu.
She said a similar incident had happened in the past, where her son decided to sleep at a friend’s house.
“He is not reachable on his phone and his friend has said that he hasn’t seen him,” she said.
