There is a new king in town

Njo Nxasane of the Nxasane Abatwa Royal House was anointed as king.

THERE was great jubilation as Njo Nxasane of the Nxasane Abatwa Royal House, was anointed as the king at an event held at the Abbaquar-San Royal House KZN premises in Austerville recently.

He was anointed by special guest at the event, Abbaquar-San Khoebaha King Thomas Brown I.

At the event, the Abbaquar-San Royal House KZN was also inaugurated and its senior structure was anointed.

Some of the senior structure members of the Abbaquar-San Royal House KZN, Sandile Khoza, advisor; Olivia Jones, chieftess; Nolene Ogle, headwoman; and Karen Smarts, district chairperson.

Olivia Jones, the chieftess of the Abbaquar-San Royal House KZN, said it was an exciting and auspicious event.

“What an amazing and historical event as we watched the birth of a king. There is a great significance behind the event, as it has been decades since we have had a voice, and now we are exercising it.

“A change is coming to the Abbaquar-San Royal House and to the nation. We are heading for great things,” said Jones.
