M19 closure

Part of the M19 will be closed next week due to construction.

THE M19 (Umgeni Road) by the N2 overpass will be closed from Wednesday to Friday, 23 to 25 April from 9pm to 4am daily.

According to the South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral), the closures are necessary for the construction of deck elements for the new bridge to be constructed over the M19. For safety and access reasons, these concrete elements can only be installed if the road is completely closed to traffic.
